We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life, by getting air taxis and drones off the ground in a way that complements current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electric multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale VoloCity aircrafts (www.volocopter.com).

Your mission during this flight:

• You will represent the ATO internally and externally, obtaining and maintaining the ATO approval.
• You will ensure the ATO has qualified personnel for the planned tasks and activities.
• You will oversee safety while ensuring a transparent and communicative environment.
• You will promote the highest degree of safety awareness throughout the ATO.
• You will ensure implementation of industry best practices and continuous improvement programs.
• You will drive a high-performance "service" culture towards Volocopter Air Services GmbH.
• You will have responsibility for establishing and maintaining an effective management system.
• You will have overall executive responsibility for the operation of the ATO.

Check in your professional skills:

• At least five years of experience in flight crew training and safety management from prior involvement in airline operations management.
• Has previously served as a Nominated Person (Form-4) for an air carrier organization.
• Possesses practical experience and knowledge of applying flight operations safety standards and procedures.
• Extensive understanding of Regulation EU No 1178/2011.
• Comprehensive familiarity with all relevant operating manuals (OM-A to OMD) and the training concept of Volocopter. 
• Holds a professional pilot license with a type rating for an aircraft operated by Volocopter (ATPL/CPL, PIC, IR). 
• Has at least a TRI rating.
