Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

You will be in in charge of tracking the evolution of the design of the aircraft with all topics related to the aircraft's mass and center of gravity, and you will ensure that the mass targets and proper performance of the aircraft can be ensured.  
 
This role is also responsible for the monitoring of W&B process, tools and to support guidance to internal/external stakeholders.

In detail:

  • Develop, maintain, and improve weight and balance tools.  
  • Support definitions of aircraft preliminary architecture for new projects.  
  • Perform and support weight control throughout aircraft development.  
  • Perform mass properties estimation and bottom-up calculations.  
  • Define and/or support weight and balance envelope definition.  
  • Perform R&O management regarding weight and balance.  
  • Document W&B results for internal use and certification purpose.
Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • Minimum of 3 year of experience in Weight and Balance, with good technical knowledge
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Aerospace
  • Good knowledge of 3D CAD mechanical software such as Siemens NX, CATIA or Solid Works
  • Basic knowledge of System Engineering and Requirements Engineering
  • Good understanding of technical aspects related to aircraft systems and composite, and metallic structures
