Here at Volocopter, we are the pioneers of electric air taxis (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft - eVTOLs). We have pledged to bring sustainable urban air mobility to life by getting electric air taxis off the ground in a way that complements existing transportation options in megacities across the globe. In 2011 we carried out the first-ever crewed flight of a fully electric multicopter and have since conducted more than 2,000 public and private test flights across the world (www.volocopter.com).

Your crew during this flight:

• The entire Flight Science department, which consists of 2 teams
• The CTO and any relevant stakeholders within the CTO arm of our organization

Your mission during this flight:

• Support your stakeholders: the Head of the Department and the Engineering Managers within the department with critical organisational tasks and high-level project planning
• Ensure synchronization of specific plans (and delays) with relevant interface partners, program management and planners from other departments
• Track risks, tasks and open issues, develop mitigation actions and assist by removing blockers and escalating according to internal escalation plans
• Provide transparency on budgeting, capacity and workforce planning topics
• Support in managing and coordinating with suppliers
• Create and update forecasts and reports regularly
• Manage interfaces and dependencies between multiple projects within and outside of the CTO organization

Check in your professional skills:

• Bachelor/Master/PHD Engineering degree
• Demonstrated experience in Project Management
• A minimum 7 years of experience in a relevant industry
• Proven track-record in technical team management and guidance
• Comfortable in uncertain and complex environments
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills in English
• Knowledge of JIRA and other related software tools
• Advanced training in the areas of traditional or agile project management (e.g. IPMA / GPM Level; APM Practitioner Level; SCRUM Master, etc.)

Bonus skills:

• Experience in aerospace
• Foreign language skills, especially German
