Here at Volocopter, we are the pioneers of electric air taxis (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft - eVTOLs). Your mission during this flight:

As an integral part of our team, you will operate, control, and manage Battery Charging Stations and other ground operations support equipment to ensure the highest availability and reliability. You will develop and manage maintenance schedules for these essential tools while defining requirements for all Ground Support Equipment. Additionally, you will oversee modifications to standard equipment to align with Volocopter's purpose. Your role includes supporting the implementation and setup of Battery Charging Stations at customer sites as well as serving as the Operational Expert for Battery Charging and Battery Charging Stations. By analyzing equipment data, monitoring reliability data, and implementing improvements in both Battery Charging Equipment and Ground Support Equipment, you will contribute significantly to our operational excellence.

• You will manage all flight test Ground Support equipment (GSE), specifically the Battery Charging Stations and battery storage facilities
• You will supervise ESU charging sessions remotely
• You will operate GSE and train new operators
• You will define and arrange for modifications of standard GSE 
• You will perform regular health checks and maintenance
• You will support Flight test international deployments remotely and via onsite support
• You will coordinate servicing and calibration, ensuring availability for all equipments
• You will ensure compliance to all local and international regulations
• You will write company documentation for GSE use and servicing
• You will maintain certification standards of GSE, as required

Check in your professional skills:

• Technical/electrical education (e.g., Anlagenelektriker, Betriebselektriker, Industrieelektriker / -elektroniker, Mechatroniker) and several years of experience as a qualified technician.
• Several years of experience in technical service.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification as a qualified person for metrological testing (Befähigte Person für messtechnische Prüfungen)
• High Voltage Training.
