Here at Volocopter, we are the pioneers of electric air taxis (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft - eVTOLs). We have pledged to bring sustainable urban air mobility to life by getting electric air taxis off the ground in a way that complements existing transportation options in megacities across the globe. In 2011 we carried out the first-ever crewed flight of a fully electric multicopter and have since conducted more than 2,000 public and private test flights across the world (www.volocopter.com).
Your mission during this flight:
The Flight Test Aircraft Manager is responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of test aircraft and meticulously planning and preparing on-aircraft work. Key responsibilities include managing the configuration status to maintain continuous airworthiness, developing a production plan that aligns with due dates, technical requirements, material availability, and staff capacity to minimize downtime and maximize test flight availability. The role also involves daily adjustments to the production plan and forecasting material needs for effective material planning. In the future, this position will also encompass planning for Part 145 aircraft maintenance.
